1. Our Commitment

netherbio ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to making the netherbio platform usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they rely on. We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time checkbox, and we work to improve it as the platform evolves.

2. Conformance Status

We aim to align the platform's core surfaces (the marketing pages, the admin dashboard, and the public bio-site templates we ship) with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

We currently consider ourselves to be in partial conformance: most of the platform meets these standards, but some areas do not yet fully conform (see Known Limitations below). We are actively working to close those gaps.

3. Measures We Take

  • Semantic HTML and ARIA labelling on interactive controls so assistive technologies can describe them.
  • Full keyboard navigation for primary flows, with visible focus indicators.
  • Respect for the operating-system prefers-reduced-motion setting. Animations and particle effects are reduced or disabled when you request it.
  • Support for prefers-contrast / high-contrast preferences.
  • Responsive, mobile-first layouts that adapt to phones, tablets, and desktops, including a thumb-reachable bottom navigation.
  • Ongoing attention to text colour contrast against the default themes we ship.

4. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not be fully accessible:

  • Customer-customised bio sites. Site owners can change colours, fonts, backgrounds, and custom content. Choices an individual owner makes (for example, low-contrast colour combinations) are outside our direct control and may not meet AA.
  • User-generated and third-party content. Reviews, uploaded images, and embedded third-party media (such as social or video embeds) may lack text alternatives or full keyboard support.
  • Newer features. Recently shipped areas may not yet have completed an accessibility review.

5. Compatibility

The platform is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari) on desktop and mobile, used together with their built-in or commonly paired assistive technologies, including screen readers. Older browsers may provide a degraded experience.

6. Feedback & Contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of netherbio. If you encounter a barrier, or need information from the platform provided in a different format, please contact us at legal@netherbio.com and describe the problem, the page or URL involved, and the assistive technology you were using.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within a reasonable time and to prioritise fixes for barriers that prevent people from completing core tasks. Abuse or policy concerns about a specific site can also be raised through the Report Abuse link in the footer of any site.
